Many houses of worship must adapt to meet the needs of new congregants in an ever-changing neighborhood. Located on Rutgers Street on the Lower East Side, St. Teresa’s Catholic Church offers Sunday Mass in English, Chinese, and Spanish for the local Chinese- and Spanish-speaking immigrant communities.
