The Red Threads

The Red Threads is packed with pale blue pillows, cherry red skirts and gently-hued linens. These elegant creations were designed and sewn by Yien Wong. A Malaysian immigrant, Yien worked in New York's fashion industry before starting her own home design business in 2000.

The minimalist designs and careful workmanship caught the eye of enough savvy shoppers that Yien decided to open her own store in 2002. The result is a destination for anyone looking to buy linens, pillows, jewelry and women's fashions like t-shirts, skirts and handbags.

Yien's work reflects her belief that art, nature, and beauty should be intertwined with daily living. With this in mind, she uses muted tones (chetuse/khaki/mint/gray/pale yellow) to create an environment of serenity and peace, as well as vibrant colors (red/blue/black/brown/orange) intended to add vitally to any room. Yien also crafts her products from the finest cotton and hand made silk.

If you're looking for unique jewelry, the Red Threads also features an array of earrings and necklaces made of onyx, coral and other fine stones.
