| Issac Sultan Neighorhood Merchant, Member Lower East Side B.I.D. I remember twenty-years ago as a store keeper at 47 Orchard St. on the Lower East Side that all the stores were so crowded that we had to lock the doors because we couldn't handle all the customers. On Sunday there were lines outside the stores waiting to come in. 20 years later on Sunday unfortunately you could roll a ball on the sidewalk of Orchard Street and it would take a long time to hit someone. Any help that would bring back the old glory would be greatly needed and appreciated. | ||
