Join us on YouTube Live for a free book talk with Matt Kapp, author of A Century Downtown, an astounding visual journey guided by a historical narrative on the evolution of Lower Manhattan over the past hundred years. Matt will be joined in conversation by James & Karla Murray, a husband-and-wife photography team behind the critically acclaimed books Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York and Store Front II- A History Preserved. For the past twenty-five years they have focused their lens on the changes to the New York streetscape through portraits of storefronts and shop owners.

The trio will explore how Covid19 will change the fabric of the city, from shuttered businesses to the metamorphoses of entire neighborhoods.
