Meet Bridget: A Special Visit to 1868

Travel back to 1868, just a few years after 97 Orchard Street first opened, and meet Bridget Moore in her family’s brand-new apartment!

You’ll meet Bridget in her family’s recreated tenement home and get to talk to her about how she stays connected to her Irish heritage while she creates a home for her family in a mostly German building and draw connections between the Moore family and immigrant families today. Throughout this special costumed interpreter program, participants will have a chance to ask Bridget their own questions, too. Recommended for all ages!
