Join us on YouTube Live for a free virtual book talk with Selina Alko, author of I is for Immigrants, in conversation with history professor and author of A is for Asylum Seeker, Rachel Ida Buff. What do African dance, samosas, and Japanese gardens have in common? They are all gifts the United States received from immigrants: the vibrant, multifaceted people who share their heritage and traditions to enrich the fabric of our daily lives. I is for Immigrants is a poignant, vibrant celebration of language and immigration.
