Join us on YouTube Live for a free virtual talk with Andrew Dolkart, author of Biography of a Tenement House in New York City, in conversation Dave Favaloro, Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Tenement Museum. They will discuss the rich history of 97 Orchard Street – the tenement building at the center of the book and one of two tenement buildings at the heart of the Tenement Museum. Dolkart’s book is a lasting tribute to the legacy of immigrants and their children, who were part of the transformation of New York City and the fabric of everyday American urban life.
