Virtual Tenement Tour: The Saez Velez Family

We’ll stream live from their recreated apartment, where you’ll hear behind-the-scenes stories of objects in Ramonita Saez’s home, including the Tenement-famous plastic-covered couch. Through these stories, we’ll discuss how she made a space for her family in the Lower East Side as part of the first big migration of Puerto Ricans to New York.
