The Tenement Museum is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing & Communications to lead the organization's strategic marketing and communications initiatives. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Marketing & Communications will play a crucial role in driving the museum's brand awareness, audience engagement, and revenue growth. This position currently oversees a team of two employees and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the museum's messaging aligns with our mission and goals, with special focus on storytelling, immigrants, migrants, refugees, and history.
This is a critical moment for the Museum and this role. We have significantly expanded our digital presence and programming, built our base of supporters, and brought on a new integrated marketing and CRM system to help us to better understand and communicate with our constituents. Lastly, we are embarking on a new strategic plan which calls for expanded investment in marketing and development to support future growth and sustainability.
