Join the Tenement Museum for a storybook! This week, we’ll read Julián is a Mermaid by Jessica Love. Find out how Julián and his Abuela — a family in modern-era Brooklyn — use imagination and ordinary household objects to transform Julián into a mermaid. Then, learn how kids of the past used household objects to make costumes and play make believe in New York City tenements. Good for ages 3 and up!
