Group Reservations

The Museum is currently only scheduling and hosting Virtual Field Trips. To inquire about booking a virtual field trip on Zoom please email [email protected].

The Tenement Museum offers discounted rates for groups of 15 or more. Group reservations are available during daytime museum hours (10am-6pm) or for private tours in the evenings (6pm-10pm) when the museum is closed to the public.

Daytime Groups can choose from various programs, apartment tours, neighborhood walking tours, and experiences, which are available at select times during the day at special rates. Private Evening Tours are customizable to the needs of individual groups and can be scheduled in conjunction with a reception or dinner program. Daytime School Groups

Through interactive tours of the tenement buildings and Lower East Side neighborhood, students investigate universal themes of cultural identity, discrimination, and human rights. All school programs support New York State Learning Standards, Common Core Learning Standards, and facilitate New Jersey Core Proficiencies for basic social studies skills, attitudes, and knowledge.

Daytime Non-School Groups

The Museum offers reduced rates for adult, seniors or college/university-aged groups consisting of 15 or more. Daytime group tours and programs are available at specific times during the day. The Museum requires daytime groups to book reservations at least four weeks in advance.

Private Evening Tours

Explore the museum without the crowds. With our private tours, groups can experience the museum after hours and take advantage of special programs that are only offered in the evening. Guests can also schedule evening tours in conjunction with receptions, discussions, or dinner programs.

Private Events

The Tenement Museum offers special event and private evening groups the opportunity to tailor their visit to include multiple programs, tours, group discussions, receptions, or dinner programs. Reservations are taken up to a year in advance for evening bookings.
